Valve Body: Service and Repair






Mechatronic Unit

Removing





- Remove the oil pan. Refer to => [ Oil Pan ] Oil Pan.

- Remove the transmission fluid filter. Refer to => [ Transmission Fluid Filter ] Service and Repair.

- Disconnect the connectors from the automatic transmission hydraulic pressure sensor 1 (G193) - 1 - and automatic transmission hydraulic pressure sensor 2 (G194) - 2 - carefully.

- Remove the bolt - arrow -.





- Carefully disconnect the connector.





- Remove the bolt - arrow - from the transmission fluid temperature sensor (G93).





- Loosen the bolts - arrows - for the Mechatronic unit diagonally and then remove them.





- Remove the bolt - arrow - from the transmission output speed sensor (G195).





Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Mechatronic Unit Bolt
Tightening Sequence and Specification ] Oil Pan, Filter and Mechatronic Unit Overview.

Replace bolts that are tightened to the angle specification.

- Mount the Mechatronic unit without using force.

- Tighten the Mechatronic unit bolts. Refer to => [ Mechatronic Unit Bolt
Tightening Sequence and Specification ] Oil Pan, Filter and Mechatronic Unit Overview.





- Attach the connectors as far as the stop.

Connectors must engage.

- Install the oil filter. Refer to => [ Transmission Fluid Filter ] Service and Repair.

- Install the oil pan. Refer to => [ Oil Pan ] Oil Pan.

- Fill the ATF and check the level. Refer to => [ ATF, Draining Or Filling after Repair ] ATF, Draining or Filling After Repair.
