Charge Air Cooler Bypass Control Unit

Removing

- On a vehicle with air suspension, activate vehicle lift mode.

- Remove the front noise insulation - 1 -.






- Disconnect the connector - 2 -.






- Remove the bolts - arrows -.

- Lift the clips - 1 -, loosen the clamp - 3 - and - 4 - and remove the air duct hoses.

- Remove the coolant hose by loosening the hose clamp - 2 -.






- Remove the bolts - arrows - and remove the charge air cooler bypass control unit (J865) - 1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Air Duct Pipes and Air Duct Hoses Overview, Vehicles Built through 05.10 ] Air Duct Pipes and Air Duct Hoses Overview, Vehicles Built Through 05.10.

- Install the noise insulation.

- On a vehicle with air suspension, deactivate vehicle lift mode.
