Diesel Emissions Fluid Control Module: Service and Repair

AdBlue(R) Metering System Control Module

• The reducing agent metering system control module (J880) is located on the right side under the rear bench seat, directly below the floor covering.

Removing

Danger of causing damage to electrical components when disconnecting the battery.

• Complete the steps for disconnecting the battery.

• Pay attention the to waiting period for vehicles with urea injection.

- Disconnect the ground (GND) cable - 4 -.






- Remove the right rear single seat in the second row of seats.






- Remove the right rear sill trim strip.

- Press the floor covering to the side and disconnect the connector - 1 -.

- Remove the nuts - 2 and 4 - and remove the reducing agent metering system control module - 3 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ AdBlue(R) Metering System Control Module Overview ] Description and Operation.

- Install sill trim strip.

- Install the right single seat in the second row of seats.

- Connect the battery.
