Upper Coolant Pipe

Removing

- Remove the oil cooler. Refer to => [ Engine Oil Cooler ] Engine Oil Cooler.

- Remove the coolant hose; to do this, loosen the hose clamp - 2 -.






• Ignore - 1 - and - arrow -.

- Remove the front coolant pipe from cylinder block.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Replace O-ring.

• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model, refer to the Parts Catalog.

- Clean and/or smooth the sealing surfaces of the O-rings.

- Coat the O-ring with coolant and slide it onto the coolant pipe.

- Install the oil cooler. Refer to => [ Engine Oil Cooler ] Engine Oil Cooler.

- Fill with coolant => [ Filling ] Procedures.
