Engine Oil Cooler

Removing

- Remove the exhaust gas recirculation. Refer to => [ Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler ] Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler.

- Remove the nut - 1 - and slightly turn the upper coolant pipe in direction of - arrow -.






• Ignore - 2 -.

• Place a cloth around the oil cooler to catch any leaking oil.

- Remove the bolts - 1 through 4 - and then remove the oil cooler.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Oil Cooler, Pressure Regulator Valve and Oil Filter Housing Overview ] Oil Cooler, Pressure Regulator Valve and Oil Filter Housing Overview.

• Remove to upper coolant pipe and replace the O-ring to prevent leakage.

- Install the upper coolant pipe. Refer to => [ Upper Coolant Pipe ] Upper Coolant Pipe.

- Install the exhaust gas recirculation cooler. Refer to => [ Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler ] Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler.

- Change engine oil.
