Shift Mechanism Assembly Overview

• Lubricate the bearing areas and slide surfaces with polycarbamide grease (G 052 142 A2).

7 Shift lock solenoid (N110)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Shift Lock Solenoid ] Shift Lock Solenoid.

12 Shift lever guide

• Clipped onto the shift unit => [ (Item 14) Shift unit ] and bolted to 0.4 Nm

• If selector lever guide or shift unit is faulty, the entire shift mechanism must be replaced. It is not possible to adjust both components using shop equipment.
