Noises coming from the B-pillar.

Technical Background

If the door striker plate (Figure 1, red line) is improperly adjusted, a noise may be generated in the latch of the door lock while driving.

Production Solution

Extra template for the correct adjustment of the striker plate.

Check the alignment of the striker plate. The striker plate must be perpendicular (90 degrees) to the side wall frame (Figure 1, green line).
