Interrogating the Fault Memory

Procedure

- Connect the scan tool.

- Switch the ignition to the "ON" position.

- Select "Diagnostic Mode 03: Interrogating fault memory ".

- The stored DTC or DTC's will be displayed on the scan tool screen.

The following table is an example of the DTC information that may be displayed on the scan tool screen:






- Refer to the following DTC tables for the diagnostic repair procedure:

• SAE P0xxxDTCs => [ SAE P0xxxDTCs ] P Code Charts.

• SAE P1xxxDTCs => [ SAE P1xxxDTCs ] P Code Charts.

• SAE P2xxxDTCs => [ SAE P2xxxDTCs ] P Code Charts.

• SAE P3xxxDTCs => [ SAE P3xxxDTCs ] P Code Charts.

• SAE U0xxxDTCs => [ SAE U0xxxDTCs ] U Code Charts.

- Switch the ignition off.
