Left Temperature Door Motor (V158)

If the feedback value in display field " 1" is less than "5" (short circuit) or greater than " 250" (open circuit), perform an electrical test.

The actual feedback value (currently between "10" and " 70" as well as between "190" and 245) is defined as the permissible tolerance range for the stop of the control motor or the flap in the Climatronic control module (J255) A/C control head.

If a value is determined in the basic setting that is greater than or less than the permissible adaptation value (learned value), the fault " adaptation limit exceeded" is entered in the DTC memory and a substitution value is displayed in the measured value block (display field "3" and " 4") (currently "30" for the lower stop and "220 " for the upper stop).

If the display values in display fields "3" or " 4" are outside the permissible range. Refer to => [ DTC Table ] DTC Memory, Interrogating.

If a fault in the integrated potentiometer is identified in one or more control motors, activation is performed for the control motors for the temperature flap via the measured values of the vent temperature sensors. All other control motors are activated in the event of a fault by the Climatronic control module (J255) A/C control head via an emergency program stored there (time control).
