The last four compressor shutoff conditions

If several compressor shutoff conditions are present at the same time (display field "1"), these are shown either in alternation or only shutoff conditions assigned highest priority by the Climatronic control module (J255) A/C control head are displayed.

The current compressor shutoff conditions are displayed in display field "1".

Compressor shutoff conditions marked with a * are saved in display fields "2", "3 "and " 4". However, they are only saved when they are effective for longer than 20 seconds (shutoff condition "12" is saved after only 12 seconds).

If the compressor is switched back off and if no compressor shutoff condition is displayed in this display group in display fields "2" through " 4 ", also check the display in display groups "026" and " 027".

If compressor shutoff condition "3" (pressure in refrigerant circuit too low) is present in an A/C control head, the Climatronic control module (J255), up to hardware/software version " 0610", the Climatronic control module (J255) A/C control head automatically switches to the "Econ" operating mode and does not save a fault. As of hardware/software version "0711 ", this is saved as a fault.

In a Climatronic control module (J255) A/C control head up to hardware/software version "0610" the compressor shutoff condition in display fields "2" to "4" may not be able to be deleted.

Explanation of Compressor Shutoff Criterion for Display Fields 1 through 4 in Display Group 002

All numbers not listed (e.g. "13") are currently not assigned a compressor shutoff condition.

Depending on the design of the Climatronic control module (J255) A/C control head, coding "9" or " 10" is displayed for this compressor shutoff condition when the vehicle electrical system voltage is too low.
