Cellular Phone Bracket, Creating Openings on Center Console

The center console is delivered as a replacement part without the holes for the cell phone retainer. The holes must be made later.

- Remove center console:

• Center Console, Removing and Installing, USA, through October 2004, Refer to => [ Center Console, through October 2004 ] Service and Repair

• Center Console, Removing and Installing, USA, from November 2004, Refer to => [ Center Console, from November 2004 ] Service and Repair.

- Create holes with the following dimensions.





a 10 mm
b 6 mm
c 20 mm
d 100 mm
e 31 mm
f 8 mm
g 5 mm
h 9 mm

- Clip the threaded hole piece, Refer to => [ (Item 1) Threaded Hole Piece ] Service and Repair from behind into center console and tighten cellular phone holder to 1.5 Nm

• After installation, check whether the glove compartment will open
