Shift Mechanism Assembly Overview

• Lubricate bearing areas and slide surfaces with polycarbamide grease (G 052 142 A2).

• The entire shift mechanism must be replaced if the gate => [ (Item 12) Gate ] or if the shift mechanism function unit is faulty => [ (Item 14) Selector mechanism function unit ]. It is not possible to adjust both components using workshop equipment.

• => [ Shift Lock Solenoid ] 09LA Transmission

12 Gate

• Clipped to the selector mechanism function unit => [ (Item 14) Selector mechanism function unit ] and tightened to 0.4 Nm.
