• Lubricate bearing areas and slide surfaces with polycarbamide grease (G 052 142 A2).





1 Selector lever

• Is secured in the shift mechanism function unit.

2 Selector lever sleeve

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle ] Selector Lever Handle

3 Selector lever handle

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle ] Selector Lever Handle

4 Cover

• With selector scale and Tiptronic gate and selector lever lock display

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Selector Mechanism Cover ] Selector Mechanism Cover

5 Symbol panel

• Clipped into cover

6 Printed circuit board

• With integrated tiptronic Switch (F189)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Tiptronic Switch ] 09LA Transmission

• If malfunctioning, start by checking whether solenoid => [ (Item 7) Cover strip ] is fixed correctly to cross slide masking panel, replace masking panel and guide if necessary.

7 Cover strip

• With solenoid for Tiptronic Switch (F189) on transverse slide

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Tiptronic Switch ] 09LA Transmission
