Shift Mechanism Cover (From VIN 8E_6A156500), Removing and Installing

Shift mechanism cover (from VIN 8E_6A156500), removing and installing - 01J, Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)

Removing

- Remove selector lever handle.





- Open ashtray in center console and remove trim panel - arrows -.
- Remove 2 retaining bolts for ashtray and lift ashtray at rear.





- Release all 4 clips - arrows - and pull cover - 1 - with guide upwards to remove.
- Disconnect connector from the side of the guide plate.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

- Install selector lever handle.
