ATF Breather Pipe, Removing and Installing

ATF breather pipe, removing and installing - 01J, Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)

Removing

^ Transmission removed.





- Remove bolt - B -.
- Pull ATF breather pipe - A - out of mount.

Note:
^ If ATF leak is determined from check hole behind ATF breather pipe - A -, slightly below bolt - B -, transmission is malfunctioning and must be replaced.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

- Insert new ATF breather pipe - A - until it reaches stop.
- Tighten ATF breather pipe with strap and bolt - B - on transmission housing.
