Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1332)









1 Belt latch

- Remove rear bench seat. Refer to through October 2004 => [ Bench Seat, through October 2004 ] Rear Seats; from November 2004 => [ Bench Seat, from November 2004 ] Rear Seats.

- Remove bolt - 4 - (Qty. 1).

• The sealing ring - 5 - must always be replaced.

• When installing, ensure safety belt latch and/or lap belt engages in rotating knobs.

• The narrow side of the safety belt latch and/or lap belt must face in direction of travel.

2 Lap Belt

3 Lap Belt with Retractor

4 Bolt

• Tightening specification 55 Nm

• Only use original bolt

5 Seal

• Must be replaced
