2 Oil dipstick

• Oil level must not be above max. mark!

3 Inlet spout

4 Guide tube

5 Intermediate plate

6 Balance shaft module with oil pump

• With pressure relief valve 12 bar

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Balance Shaft Module with Oil Pump ] Balance Shaft Module With Oil Pump

7 15 Nm plus an additional 1/4 turn (90°)

• Replace

• Note different length of bolts => [ Bolt allocation for balance shaft housing ] Balance Shaft Module With Oil Pump

8 15 Nm

9 Oil pan

• Clean sealing surface before installing

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Oil Pan ] Oil Pan

10 15 Nm

11 Seal

• Rolled onto => [ (Item 12) Oil drain plug, 30 Nm ].

12 Oil drain plug, 30 Nm

• With permanent sealing ring

• Replace

13 Chain sprocket

14 10 Nm

15 Protective cap

16 Oil Level Thermal Sensor (G266)

17 Seal

• Replace

• Oil before assembling

18 20 Nm plus an additional 90°

• Replace

19 Chain guard

20 Chain

21 Sealing flange

• Must be located on dowel sleeves

• Seal for crankshaft - belt pulley side, replacing, refer to => [ Crankshaft Seal, Ribbed Belt Side ] Service and Repair
