Brake System Vacuum Pump

The vacuum pump is not intended to be serviced. If problems occur, trace the malfunction by means of a function test and/or pressurized leak test. If a malfunction is found, the brake system vacuum pump (V192) must be replaced.

Removing

- Remove the trim cover.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 -.





- Disconnect the vacuum hose - 1 - from the vacuum pump.

- Press the clip out of the bracket by hand.





- Lift out the brake system vacuum pump (V192).

Installing

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
