Clutch Release Mechanism and Slave Cylinder Assembly Overview - 6 Spd. Manual Transmission 02Q Front Wheel Drive





1 - Transmission

2 - Input shaft seal

^ Replace Input Shaft Seal

3 - Slave cylinder with release bearing

^ Slave cylinder and release bearing are one unit and can only be replaced together
^ Do not wash out bearing, only wipe off
^ If bearing is noisy, replace together with slave cylinder

4 - Bolt

^ For metal slave cylinder, 12 Nm
^ For plastic slave cylinder, 15 Nm
^ Qty. 3
^ Replace

5 - O-ring

^ Replace
^ Pull onto line connection
^ Install with brake fluid
