Subframe and Brackets, Securing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

^ Engine/transmission jack V.A.G 1383 A with universal transmission support V.A.G 1359/2

Removing





To secure the subframe with the bracket, install locating pins T10096 in locations 1, 8, 9 and 18.





- Replace mounting bolts with Locating Pins T10096 and tighten to 20 Nm.





- Replace bolts with locating pins T10096 and tighten to 20 Nm.

Position of front axle is now located.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Make sure that locating pins T10096 are replaced by new bolts, one after the other.
