• Insert with Locking Fluid (AMV 185 101 A1)

2 Guide sleeve

• With seal

• Sealing ring, removing and installing => [ (Item 6) Oil seal ] 02XA Transmission

3 O-Ring

• Always replace

4 Plate spring

• Small diameter facing guide sleeve (convex side) => [ (Item 2) Guide sleeve ]

5 Securing ring

• Note thickness

• Determine thickness, refer to => [ Input Shaft, Adjusting ] Adjustments

6 Ball bearing

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Transmission, Assembly Sequence ] Transmission, Assembly Sequence

7 Securing ring

• Note thickness

• Determine thickness, refer to => [ Input Shaft, Adjusting ] Adjustments

8 Locking bolt, 45 Nm

• Quantity: 2

• Insert with Locking Fluid (AMV 185 101 A1 )

9 Alignment bushing

• Quantity: 2

• Installing into the transmission housing

• Removing and installing using a Drift (3121)

10 Selector shaft with selector cylinder

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Transmission, Assembly Sequence ] Transmission, Assembly Sequence

11 O-Ring

• For selector shaft cover

• Always replace

• Coat with transmission fluid

12 Selector shaft cover

• With Back-Up Light Switch (F4)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Transmission, Assembly Sequence ] Transmission, Assembly Sequence

13 Bolt, 24 Nm

• Quantity: 3

• Insert with Locking Fluid (AMV 185 101 A1 )

14 Back-Up Light Switch (F4) - 20 Nm

15 Dowel pin

• For selector shaft retainer

• Installing into the transmission housing

• Installation position: the groove in the dowel pin face the selector shaft cover

16 Alignment bushing

• Quantity: 2

• Installing into the bearing housing

• Removing and installing using a Drift (3121)

17 Transmission cover

• Servicing, refer to => [ Transmission Cover Servicing ] Transmission Cover Servicing

• If only the transmission cover was removed from the manual transmission, then the bearing housing => [ (Item 19) Bearing housing ] must also be removed in order to apply new sealant between the transmission and bearing housings.

18 Bolt, 35 Nm plus an additional 90° turn

• Quantity: 12

21 Oil drain bore bolt, 45 Nm

22 Oil filler hole bolt, 45 Nm
