Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair






Brake Booster Pressure Sensor

Removing

- Remove the plenum chamber cover.

- Pull the electrical connector out downward.

- Remove the bolts - arrows -.





The pressure sensor may be secured with clips on some versions.

- Disconnect the brake system vacuum pump (V192 ) from the non-return valve as shown in the illustration.





- - 1 - Brake booster

- - 2 - Vacuum line

- - 3 - Hose clamp

- - 4 - Pressure sensor

- - 5 - Check valve

- Remove the pressure sensor.

Installing

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
