Side Luggage Compartment Trim

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required







- Torque wrench V.A.G 1783







1 - Spring clamp
2 - Luggage compartment trim

- Removal:
- Remove rear seat side panel or rear side airbag.
- Disengage luggage compartment floor at cargo tray and remove.
- Remove rear cross panel trim.
- Remove bolts - 4 - (4x) for tie-downs - 5 -.
- Remove bolt - 3 - (1x). Unclip trim -spring clips - 1 - (4x).
- Disconnect rear socket electrical connector (right trim).

- Installing:
Installation is reverse of removal. Observe the following when doing so:
- Rear lid rubber must be laid over roof end trim.

CAUTION: Ensure trim is held securely.

3 - Screw
- Tightening torque 1.8 Nm
4 - Screws (4x)
- Tightening torque 4 Nm
5 - Tie-downs
