Luggage Compartment Side Trim

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1783)









1 Spring clamp

2 Luggage compartment trim

• Removal:

- Remove rear seat side panel => [ Rear Seat Side Upholstery ] Rear Seats or rear side airbag => [ Rear Side Airbag, Folding Backrest, Removing and Installing ] Side Airbags, Servicing.

- Disengage luggage compartment floor at cargo tray and remove.

- Remove rear cross panel trim => [ Rear Cross Panel Trim, Removing and Installing ].

- Remove bolts - 4 - (Qty. 4) for tie-downs - 5 -.

- Remove bolt - 3 - (1x).

- Unclip trim - spring clips - 1 - (Qty. 4).

- Disconnect rear socket electrical connector (right trim).

• Installing:

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order. Observe the following when doing so:

- Tailgate rubber must be laid over roof end trim.

CAUTION!
Ensure trim is held securely.

3 Bolt

• Tightening specification 1.8 Nm

4 Screws (Qty. 4)

• Tightening specification 4 Nm

5 Tie-down
