Drivers Storage Compartment (vehicles With Knee Bolster), Assembly Overview







1 - Drivers storage compartment
- Removing
- Remove instrument panel cover - 6 -.
- Remove bolts - 2 - (3x).
- Pull storage compartment at top of instrument panel to back and remove.
- Unclip diagnostic connector.
- Disconnect connector on footwell light and on additional speaker - 5 - if required.
- Installing
- First engage drivers storage compartment in guides on bottom edge, then clip onto instrument panel at top.
2 - Bolts (3x)
- Tightening torque 3.5 Nm
3 - Bolt
- Tightening torque 1.5 Nm
4 - Angle bracket
5 - Additional speaker
- Removing
6 - Instrument panel cover, left
- Removing
7 - Support, left
- Only for vehicles with knee bolster
8 - Bolts (4x)
- Tightening torque 9 Nm
9 - Support, right
- Only for vehicles with knee bolster







Removing left instrument panel cover

Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Front end hook 3370
- Removing
- Remove left instrument panel cover - arrow - using front end hook 3370.







Removing additional speaker
- Disconnect connector - 2 -.
- Remove bolt - 1 - and remove retaining bracket - 3 - and additional speaker - 4 -.
