Shift Lock Solenoid N110 (From VIN 8E_6A156500), Removing and Installing



Shift Lock Solenoid N110 (from VIN 8E_6A156500), removing and installing - 01J, Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)





Removing
- Remove cover for shift mechanism.
- Disconnect electrical harness connector on Shift Lock Solenoid N110.
- Press retaining hooks -A- into shift mechanism -arrow- and hold it down.

Note:
^ If retaining hook -A- is broken off, selector mechanism function unit must be replaced.





- Tip Shift Lock Solenoid N110 down and out in direction of -arrow- so that ball head -1- disengages from operating lever on shift mechanism.
- Remove Shift Lock Solenoid N110.

Installing
Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:
- Rotate ball head -1- to correct installation position.
- Guide Shift Lock Solenoid N110 diagonally from above into shift mechanism.
- Tip Shift Lock Solenoid N110 down in opposite direction of -arrow-.





- Ball head -1- must be completely engaged in operating lever on shift mechanism.
- Secure Shift Lock Solenoid N110 on retaining hook -A-.
- Install cover for shift mechanism.
