- Connect scan tool and select function "engine electronics" refer to Vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 or scan tool V.A.G 1551, connecting. Vehicle Diagnostic Testing and Information System VAS5051 or Scan Tool VAG1551, Connecting
- Press -> key.

Indicated on display (function selection):





- Press keys 0 and 3 for "Final control diagnosis" and confirm the entry with the Q key.
- Press the -> key until the following text appears:

- Confirm entry with the Q button.

The electric vacuum pump should now run for approx. 10 sec.

- Remove diagnosis lead from diagnostic connection.
