Hood Shock / Support: Service and Repair

Gas-filled strut, removing and installing







- Support hood or secure it from falling down.
- Gently lift retaining springs-arrow-at both ends of gas-filled strut using a screwdriver and unclip gas-filled strut.
- To install, press gas-filled strut onto ball stud and engage.
- Install with tube end of strut at body.
