Shift mechanism on transmission side, assembly overview





1 - Hex nut, 20 Nm
^ Self-locking
^ Replace

2 - Selector shaft lever
^ Insert so that master spline aligns with selector shaft
^ Can be replaced with shift mechanism assembled
^ Installed position

3 - Shoe

4 - Bearing bushing

5 - Linkage lever
^ Installed position

6 - Selector shaft
^ With shift cover
^ Can be removed and installed with transmission installed

7 - Bearing bushing
^ For selector shaft
^ Pulling out
^ Driving in

8 - O-ring
^ Insert into surrounding groove of shift cover
^ Lubricate with transmission fluid before installing
^ Replace

9 - Cap
^ For transmission ventilation

10 - Locking washer
^ For actuator lever
^ Removing

11 - Seal
^ Pry out using screwdriver
^ Installing





Removing locking washer for actuator lever
- Lift up clamp in direction of - arrow -.





Drive in sealing ring to stop.
- Drive in seal up to stop.
- Fill area between sealing lip and dust lip halfway with sealing grease G 052 128 A1.
