Flange shaft sealing ring (final drive installed), replacing





Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
^ Puller T10037
^ Driver VW 195
^ Torque wrench V.A.G 1332/

Right sealing ring, removing
- Remove right drive axle and tie securely between upper and lower lateral control arms.
- Place oil drain pan underneath drive flange and remove drive flange.





- Remove flanged shaft, to do so, thread lower support of puller T10037 into housing - arrow -.
- Pry out seal with a lever.

Left sealing ring, removing
- Remove left drive axle and tie securely at lower lateral control arm.
- Place oil drain pan underneath drive flange and remove drive flange.





- Remove flanged shaft, to do so, thread lower support of puller T10037 into housing - arrow -.
- Pry out seal with a lever.
