Clutch Slave Cylinder: Service and Repair

Slave cylinder, removing and installing (release bearing with hydraulic actuation), 02M/02Y, 5 & 6 Speed M/T, AWD

Note: The slave cylinder and release bearing are one unit and can only be replaced together.

Removing
- Remove transmission.





- Remove bolts - arrows -.
- Pull out release bearing - A - together with clutch slave cylinder.

Installing
Installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
- Install transmission.
- Bleed clutch system.
