1 - Windshield
- Clearance to roof, dimension - b - = 5 mm ± 0.5 mm
- Align lateral clearance so that distance is the same on both sides
2 - Adhesive bead
- Observe curing times
Note different spacing from edge of windshield:
- Dimension - c - = 12 mm ± 2 mm
- Dimension - d - = 8 mm ± 2 mm
- Dimension - e - = 23 mm ± 2 mm







3 - Upper spacers
- Glue 3 spacers onto windshield.
- Distance from upper edge of windshield = 20 mm ± 2 mm
- Glue on 2 spacers 80 mm from left and right edges of windshield, and 1 spacer centered in middle of windshield.
4 - Lower spacers
- Glue spacers (5x) at equal distances on windshield gasket - 5 -, as shown.
- Distance a = 10 mm







5 - Windshield gasket
- Supplied together with windshield.

- When performing repairs, pull off windshield gasket.
- Clean edge of windshield and apply glass/paint primer D 009 200 02.
- Clean clamping channel of windshield gasket and apply plastic primer D 009 600.
- Apply adhesive DH 009 100 03 (mini-cartridge) to clamping channel and press gasket centrally onto windshield.
6 - Plenum chamber cover
- Allow window adhesive to set (4 hrs.) before pressing into retaining strip.
