ABS/EDL and ABS/EDL/ASR ITT Mark 20 IE



The control module in the vehicle is coded. New control modules from the Parts Supplier are not coded and must be coded after installation.
Coding is only possible if the workshop code (WSC) is entered in the VAG1551.

Test procedure
- Connect VAG1551 and select address word 03 "Brake Electronics". Scan Tool VAG1551/1552 or VAS5051 Connecting/Selecting Function
- Check control module version and press --> button. Testing and Inspection





Indicated on display
- Press buttons 0 and 7 for function "Code control module."





Indicated on display
- Press Q button to confirm input.





Indicated on display
- Enter appropriate code number and confirm input with Q button.

- Press --> button.

Notes:
If the control module is coded incorrectly.
^ The warning light for ABS - K47 lights up.
^ The red brake warning symbol lights up when 10 km/h or 2000 RPM is attained first time after ignition is switched on.
If control module is not coded (Code 00000):
^ Warning light for ABS - K47 flashes onetime per second.
^ The red brake warning symbol lights up when 10 km/h or 2000 RPM is attained first time after ignition is switched on.
