Code Control Module (function 07)

- Connect the vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051, Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051, Connecting and Selecting Functions and select the vehicle system "01 - Engine electronics" from the menu. When doing this the ignition must be on.







Display on VAS 5051:
- Select diagnosis function "07 - Code control module" from the menu -1-.







Display on VAS 5051:
1 - Enter code word
(figures up to 32767)
- Using the keypad -2-, enter the correct control module coding as shown in the coding table.

Meaning of coding:












1) LEV: abbreviation for low emissions vehicle
2) ASR: abbreviation for anti-slip regulation

- Confirm input with Q button







Display on VAS 5051:
1 - Coding is being performed.
- Wait until the next display appears.







Display on VAS 5051:
1 - Coding of vehicle system performed
2 - Control module identification with new coding
(previous coding in brackets)
- Press the <-�button to exit from the diagnosis function "07 - Code control module"
