Relay Box: Service and Repair



Micro Central Electric And 13-position Relay Panel, Removing And Installing

CAUTION:
Before beginning repairs on the electrical system:
- Obtain the anti-theft radio security code.
- Switch off all electrical consumers.
- Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.
- Disconnect negative ( - ) battery terminal.
- When reconnecting battery terminals, observe all applicable Notes and torque specifications, as well as instructions on performing OBD program and electrical system function checks as specified.


Removing

NOTE: All removed cable ties are to be replaced and attached in original location.

- Disconnect battery.
- Remove driver's lower instrument panel trim







- Remove screws -C-. If necessary, remove all terminal connections -D- and -E-.
- Remove relays and control modules.
- Unclip appropriate relay carrier.
- Remove central electric and 13-position relay panel downwards.

NOTE: Individual terminal and relay assignments

Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

NOTE: All removed cable ties are to be replaced and attached in original location.

- Reconnect battery.

Tightening torque

Central electric/relay panel to mounting 2 Nm
