Refrigerant Pipes On Expansion Valve, Removing And Installing

- Discharge refrigerant system

NOTE: Depending on engine version, improved access may be obtained by removing front suspension cross brace.

- Remove insulation -A-.







- Remove screw -B-, tightening torque 8 Nm (71 in lb).
- Remove refrigerant pipes -C- and -D-.

NOTE:
- Always replace both O-rings -E- (17.0 mm; 1.85 mm) and -F- (8.2 mm; 1.85 mm).
- Seal off open ends of refrigerant pipes and the connections on expansion valve.
- Install refrigerant pipes stress free.
