Rotor, checking

- Raise vehicle.

- Remove wheel.

- Check rotor for dirt and damage by rotating brake disc.

- If rotor is damaged, wheel hub must be removed together with rotor and replaced.

Checking rotor lateral run-out






- Turn wheel hub and check that gap -a- between rotor and speed sensor is uniform.

Distance a = 0.3 mm

- If lateral run-out is out of tolerance, remove and replace wheel hub with rotor.
