Longitudinal acceleration sensor -G251-, zeroing

Note: All functions previously performed with the VAG1551 can also be performed using the new VAS5051 tester.

Park vehicle on a level surface.

- Connect VAG1551 scan tool and select the control module for brake electronics with ignition switched on (address word 03).

- Check the measured values using "Read Measuring Value Block" function 08, Display group number 006. Read Measuring Value Block (Function 08)

Perform "Login-Procedure" function 11 successfully using the VAG1551 Scan Tool (ST). Login-Procedure (Function 11)

If this appears in display, then the measured values are not within the tolerance range permitted for the zeroing procedure.

Check the measured values using "Read Measuring Value Block" function 08, Display group number 006.
1. Check DTC memory (function 02)
2. Erase DTC memory (function 05)
3. End Output (function 06)
4. Switch ignition off.
5. Switch ignition on.
6. Then repeat zeroing.
- Press -> button.
