Brake Caliper, 2FN, Assembly Overview

^ Install complete repair kit when performing service work.
^ New brake calipers are filled with brake fluid and pre-bled.
^ Apply thin coat of assembly paste G 052 150 A2 to brake cylinder, piston and seal.





1 - Dust cap

^ Install on bleeder valve

2 - Bleeder valve, 10 Nm

^ Grease lightly with assembly paste G 052 150 A2 before screwing in.

3 - Caps

^ Insert in mounting bushing

4 - Guide pin, 25 Nm

5 - Mounting bushing

^ Insert into brake caliper housing

6 - Brake caliper housing

7 - Brake carrier

^ Bolt onto brake caliper housing

8 - Retaining spring

9 - Seal

10 - Piston

^ Apply thin coat of assembly paste G 052 150 A2 to piston before installing

11 - Protective seal

^ Do not damage when inserting piston
