Spoiler Installing (rear Lid With Pre-drilled Locating Pin Holes)

NOTES:
- When installing spoiler on a new rear lid, prepare adhesive area with cleaning solution part number D 009 401 04B and prime area with special primer part number D 181 711 A1.
- Mark area to be primed using primer template V A.S 6043 for Audi TT rear spoiler.
- When installing spoiler on a used and undamaged rear lid, do not totally remove adhesive residue.
- Adhesive residue will aid in securing new adhesive applied.







Assembly overview

1 - Spoiler
2 - Gasket strip
- Self-adhesive
- Prior to attaching to spoiler, cut strip to length.
- After spoiler has been painted, attach gasket strip as shown.
- The ends of upper and lower strip must be set flush against each other.
3 - Nut
4 - Washer
- Place onto adjusting screw after attaching gasket strip.
5 - Gasket
- Place on locating pin after attaching gasket strip.
6 - Cover cap
- Roadster only
7 - Nut
8 - Retainer screw







9 - Adjusting screw
- Install prior to attaching spoiler to rear lid.
10 - Locating pin
- Observe different diameters for Coupe and Roadster.
11 - Part number
- Glued to underside of spoiler.
