Back-Up Light Switch, Removing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1331)

Removing

- If equipped, loosen quick-release connectors - 3 - and remove rear noise insulation - B -.





- Disconnect connector - arrow - on the Back-Up Light Switch (F4) to the transmission on the right side.





- Remove the Back-Up Light Switch (F4) - arrow - from the selector shaft cover.

Installing

- Install the Back-Up Light Switch (F4) - arrow - in the selector shaft cover and tighten it to 20 Nm.





- Connect the connector - arrow - on the Back-Up Light Switch (F4) on the right side of the transmission.

- Install rear noise insulation - B -.
