Compressor Drive Shaft, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Remove compressor.







- Remove boot - A -.
- Pull drive shaft - B - out of splines of drive pinion - C -.

Installing
Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:
- Check drive shaft - B -. Splines must not show signs of wear and must engage snugly in splines of drive pinion - C -.
- Before installing, coat splines of drive shaft - B - with special grease G 000 100.







- Before installing compressor, insert drive shaft - B - and slide it home in drive pinion - C -.
- After installing compressor, check installation position of socket - A -.
