Backrest Heating Element, Removing and Installing

Removing

- Remove seat: vehicles from November 2004 => [ Power Front Memory Seat ] Power Front Memory Seats, From November 2004.

- Remove backrest: vehicles from November 2004 => [ Front Backrest ] Power Front Memory Seats, From November 2004.

- Remove cover and padding from backrest. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover and Cushion, Sport and Standard Seats, Removing and Installing ] Backrest Cover and Cushion, Sport and Standard Seats, Removing and Installing.

- Cut wire - 3 - off of old heating element - 1 -.





Installing

- Align heating element - 1 - on backrest surface, remove protective foil and glue heating element to cushion.

- Insert electrical wire - 3 - into gap - 4 -.

- Lay wire connections without crossing into bottom of openings at positions - 2 -.
