Navigation Chip Card Reader

- Turn off all electrical consumers.

- Remove ignition key.

Removing

- Remove glove compartment.

- Carefully unclip wire to Chip Card Reader (R99 ) and disconnect connector.

- Remove screws - 1 - (1 Nm) and carefully slide Chip Card Reader (R99) out of glove compartment.





Installing

- Install in reverse order.

- The Operating Electronics, Navigation Control Module (J402) must be adapted when the Operating Electronics, Navigation Control Module (J402) is installed for the first time or changed.

Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 to do so.
