Clutch Pedal, Removing and Installing

Clutch pedal, removing and installing, 02M/02Y, 5 & 6 Speed M/T, AWD

Removing
- Remove over-center spring.
- Remove clutch pedal switch.
- Disconnect clutch pedal from clutch master cylinder.





- Remove nut - A -.
- Unscrew bolt far enough so that clutch pedal can be removed.





Installing
Installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
- Install over-center spring Over-center spring, removing and installing.
^ Retainer - A - must be located on operating rod - B - of clutch master cylinder.
- Press clutch pedal in direction of - arrow - to engage, ensure correct engaging while doing so.
- Install clutch pedal switch.
