Spring and suspension strut, assembly overview (All Wheel Drive (AWD) vehicles)





1 - Hex bolt, 60 Nm
^ Always replace if removed

2 - Mounting bracket for suspension strut

3 - Gas-filled strut
^ The same version must be installed on both sides
^ Can be replaced individually

4 - Stabilizer bar

5 - Self-locking nut, 25 Nm
^ Always replace if removed 6 - Hex bolt, 110 Nm
^ Always replace if removed

7 - Coupling rod

8 - Trailing arm

9 - Spacer
^ Only installed in vehicles with heavy-duty suspension

10 - Stop buffer
^ 10 Nm

11 - Coil spring
^ Check for paint damage, repair paint damage if necessary
^ Note color code

12 - Spring plate

13 - Thread in longitudinal member
If damaged, thread of captive nut can be repaired with Heli-coil thread insert.

14 - Thread in cross member
If damaged, thread of captive nut in cross member can be repaired with Heli-coil thread insert.
