Axle Beam: Service and Repair



Bonded rubber bushings for rear final drive, removing and installing





Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
^ Support arm bushing inst. tool 3346
^ Assembly tool 3301
^ Tube T10030/2
^ Transverse T10030/5
^ Thrust piece 3348/1

Removing
- First remove spring.
- Remove subframe complete with rear final drive.





- Support final drive.
- Remove socket head bolts.
- Remove cross member from rear final drive.





- Remove socket head bolt - 1 -.
- Move final drive approx. 15 to 20 mm - arrow -.

2 - Support for rear final drive





- Set up special tools.

1 - Washer

- Remove bonded rubber bushing by turning spindle.

Installing

Installation position of bonded rubber bushing





Arrow on bonded rubber bushing - 1 - must point upward or downward.





- Set up special tools.
- Install bonded rubber bushing by turning spindle.

Installing
Installation of subframe and springs is carried out in reverse order.
