Gasket, Removing And Installing

- Remove windshield.
- Use metal scraper to detach gasket from windshield glass and remove.







- Use cleaning fluid D 009 401 04 to clean bonding surface of windshield - 1 -.
- Apply primer D 009 200 02 with cotton swab - 2 -.
- Drying time: 10 minutes.

Preparing new gasket







- Clean clamping channel - 3 - of gasket - 1 - with cotton swab - 2 - and cleaning solution D 009 401 04.
- Apply plastic primer D 009 600 to clamping channel with cotton swab.
- Drying time: 10 minutes







- Use thin nozzle - 3 - to apply adhesive sealant - 2 - (3 mm thick) to clamping channel - 1 -.
- Center gasket with glass pane, and press onto bottom edge of pane.

CAUTION: Allow 4 hours for adhesive sealant to set before pressing plenum chamber cover into gasket.
