Undamaged Quarter Glass, Installing

- When reusing an undamaged window, use a carpet knife to cut back the remaining adhesive sealing material on the window and body flange to give an even surface, but do not remove completely.

The remaining material is required as a base for better adhesion of the new adhesive sealing material to be applied.

- Keep adhesive surface free of dirt and grease.

CAUTION: Do not prime or use cleaning solution on adhesive surface.

- Apply adhesive bead to remaining adhesive material.
- Height of adhesive bead = 12 mm + 3 mm
- Width of adhesive bead = 8 mm ± 2 mm

NOTE: It is recommended to use adhesive sealant D 009 100 03 (small cartridge) for glueing on a single window or D 004 300 05 (2-component adhesive) for more than one window.
