Pressing wheel hub out of wheel bearing housing
Removing and installing circlip
- Make sure circlip is seated properly when installing.
- Remove circlip using commercially available pliers.
Pressing wheel bearing out of wheel bearing housing
Remove inner bearing race
- Insert special tool - 3423 - as shown.
- Screw cross-piece Kukko -18-0- into special tool - 3423 -.
- Mount special tool -40-105- on wheel hub and remove inner bearing race by turning spindle.
Coat entire inner surface of bore in wheel bearing housing with Moly paste (AOS 115 000 01).
Note: A grease packet containing 3 grams of grease is included with the wheel bearing kit.
Pressing wheel bearing into wheel bearing housing
Note: After the wheel bearing is pressed in, circlip must be replaced
Pressing wheel hub into wheel bearing
Note: When pressing in the wheel hub, make sure that the special tool bears on inner bearing race.
